Ravissante boîte en laque du Japon urushi en forme d’éventail replié. Orné d’un décor d’herbes, de campanules (Ki-kyo), feuillages et Jo-Môns de la famile Ni-Jo en hiramaki-e (laque en noir, argent et or) et en nashiji (fond d’or dont la surface granuleuse rappelle la peau de poire japonaise) sur fond noir. L’intérieur en laque noir. Très joli décor et très bel état. Dimension : 33 x 4 x 3,6 cm Références : On connaît des modèles tout à similaires formant Yatate. Japon Edo (1603-1868) fin du XVIIIe siècle.
Beautiful and unusual Japanese lacquer urushi box for fan in form of a folding fan. Decorated with Jo-Môns of Ni-Jo family, flowers of and foliage in hiramaki-e (lacquer in black and gold) and nashiji (gold background with a grainy surface reminds of the peel of Japanese pear) on a black colored background. The interior is black lacquer. Beautifully decorated and in very well condition. Dimension : 33 x 4 x 3,6 cm. Reference : We can see very similar models in the form of Yatate. Japan Edo (1603-1868) end of 18th century.
