NETSUKE – Joueur de Rakugo en bois sculpté par Gyokurin

 

 

NETSUKE – en bois sculpté, figurant un homme chauve, assis sur ses talons, portant un kimono et un large éventail uchiwa dans ses mains, le visage grimaçant. Personnage de théâtre ou d’un conteur de Rakugo. Signé sous la base : Gyokurin. Hauteur : 3,3 cm. Japon EDO (1603-1868) fin du XVIIIe, début du XIXe siècle.
NETSUKE – wood very fine model of a man, seated on his heels / feet, wearing a kimono and holding a fan uchiwa, with a grimacing face. A theater figure who could be a Rakugo player. Signed under the base : Gyokurin. Height : 1.29 inches. Japan EDO (1603-1868) end of 18th, early 19th century.
