Inro par Shiomi Masakage – Châtaignes et amandes


 

CHATAIGNES, PAR SHIOMI MASAKAGE Intéressant modèle d’Inro par Shiomi Masakage (1681-1764), ouvrant par trois cases et un couvercle, représentant, sur fond noir Roi-iro, en makie des amandes et châtaignes, un rouleau en partie basse en togidashi avec un petit et long poissons au revers, ce dernier en incrustation de coquillage. Signé Shiomi Masakage avec un cachet. Provenance : Nihon Token, Londres, 1977. Puis Collection Wrangham, no.1359. Hauteur : 6 cm Avec un Ojime en agate et un Netsuke en bois représentant des châtaignes en bois sculpté, dont la plus grande laisse apparaître un petit vers en os. Epoque Edo (1603-1868) XVIIIe siècle
A black lacquer three-cases Inro by Shiomi Masakage (1681-1764). The wide rectangular body with rich roiro ground, lacquered and inlaid with hazel nuts and chestnuts on a mat and simplified fish, in gold and coloured takamaki-e, the fish of inlaid shell and the interior of roiro with kinji edges, signed Shiomi Masakage kore o hissu with a seal Masakage. Provenance : Nihon Token, London, 1977. An ivory maggot of bone inside, coming out of the bigger chestnut. Japan Edo (1603-1868) 19th century.
