Netsuke en corne de cerf. Très beau modèle de Hollandais tenant un coq dans ses bras. Son nez et ses yeux globuleux sont tout à fait typiques du portrait du Hollandais au Japon. Le coq, son chapeau, sa chevelure et les collants incrustés de corne sont caractéristiques de la parure du Hollandais de cette époque. Hauteur : 7,5 cm. Japon EDO – XVIIIe siècle. Sujet rare et de très belle facture. Parfait état.
A fine and are Stag Horn Netsuke. A figure of a Dutchman with a coquerel in his arms. His large nose, bulding eyes are typical caricature. The coquerel, his hat, his hair and the sleeves inlaid with horn buttons are quite characteristic of the Dutchman. Japan EDO – XVIII th century. Perfect condition. H : 2.9 IN
