Très élégant portrait d’une noble chinoise richement vêtue, avec un chapeau en fourrure minutieusement décrit à l’aquarelle et gouache. Le visage de face est une tradition dans l’art du portrait de la Chine ancienne. Dessin à l’aquarelle et gouache sur papier beige, avec un ancien cachet peu lisible en haut à gauche. Ancienne collection Anne-Marie Rousset, par descendance, Robert Rousset (1901 – 1981). Dimension : 31x23cm
An elegant portrait of a Chinese noble woman in a rich costume, with highlight on her fur hat decorated by a band of embroidery. The frontal portrait is typical way to depicting people in ancient Chinese art. Paint by watercolor on paper, with an old stamp in the upper-right (nearly readable). Came from the collection Anne-Marie Rousset, and by descent, Robert Rousset (1901-1981). Dimension : 31 x 23 cm
